Catherine Malandrino’s Spring 09 presentation drew inspiration from a global sampling of nomadic cultures. One of the handful of themed groupings, entitled “Sundanese Clans,” just happened to have some of the coolest models (bias alert). And as if that wasn’t enough, while wandering around I realized that the show’s beautiful background music was provided by Celia of Les Nubians singing LIVE (!!!). The glory of fashion week at work.
